Sellick Forklifts Northwest Territories

Walter Sellick started building his business after a long connection with a dealer of Ford Tractors. He began by transforming an industrial tractor provided by Ford Tractor. He transformed it into a 6000 pound lift truck to be utilized outdoors. What is currently regarded as the turn-around tractor series is comprised of a counterweight design and basic sub-frame and a mast.

Heavy duty lifts have changed in both their construction and design. An essential one piece frame idea was introduced to all units of Sellick lift trucks ever since the year 1975. The basic Ford Tractor power train became retrained as the basic power module for most models. The market was for Sellick straight mast rough terrain lift trucks were well established. Another new component was added to all machine during 1987. Featured in this series was the Perkins, Continental and Ford engine options which came with shift-on-the-go transmissions. Furthermore, the See Thru roller masts along with the low profile SD Series and the SG Series became available in the market. The introduction of the 12,000 pound SD Series in the late 1990s together with the optional fully automatic Power-shift transmission showcased the technology for the new millennium.

In 1995, the corporation made the TMF-55 Truck Mounted Lift Truck, which features a load capacity of 5,500 pounds. This model is powered by a choice of Deutz or Perkins diesel engine. This design greatly maximizes the complete delivery system-trailer, truck and driver and really lessens turn-around time to a minimum. The TMF-55 simply and easily loads itself on the back of a trailer or a truck. This design saves huge cargo space and eliminates the need for towing a trailer.

Sellick Equipment Limited became the only distributer of the JCB Teletruck in North America during the year 2002. This flexible reach industrial forklift helps to fill out the material handling products selection. It offers supreme versatility and a unique forward reach.

In 2004, Sellick launched the S Series of ergonomically friendly lift trucks. These units focused a great deal on operator safety and comfort. The business has launched top of the line forklift design and a new era of manufacturing.
