Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklift units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck providing versatility and great height. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the person utilizing it to lift the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular forklifts could not move the load towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift can allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It comes with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform meant particularly to lift workers. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a strap or chain which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
