Narrow aisle forklifts work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the aisle width. Yale spotlights the single reach NR and the double reach NDR units for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks apply best-in-class ergonomics and offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has various stance and control handle configurations.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations which meet a range of operations and the aft stance, a choice of fore or side-stance options as well.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers powerful deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been designed for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of cargo moved in a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To greatly improve the overall throughput and productivity, Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a great feature that maintains lower oil operating temperature whilst reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: In order to greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The operator could adjust the steering tiller and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable so as to lessen operator fatigue. During the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically start.
Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also referred to as order pickers. These equipment are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height can be over 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are generally wire or rail guided when used in very narrow aisle applications.
