End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling business for their extreme flexibility. These machinery have superior performance characteristics which are quite like sit-down electric lift truck models.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suited for warehousing operation environments that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are normally less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machinery are an excellent choice for applications which require frequent on and off access, since their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
Numerous businesses used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading devices could arrange finished products on pallets and materials to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great alternative for those who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need yet in an efficient and safe way.
The standard reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping tines which move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades also have a hydraulic system that allows the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only offers a lot more balance to the whole load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
Once the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic forks swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Normally, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across without difficulty, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
