FM GRU Tower Cranes were established in the year 1920. This family run business, FMgru, is located within the largest industrial location within northern Italy. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, different kinds of forklifts, presses, farming machinery and prefabrication molds.
During 1963, the business began crane production. The company eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the area of lifting.
