Caterpillar Container Handlers Northwest Territories

A full container handler that is unparalleled in efficiency and lifting capacity is known as a Caterpillar Container Handler.

By combining high performance, stability and modern technology, Caterpillar Container handlers are the optimum alternative for loading and unloading full containers. Container Handlers range from 24 tons to 43 tons. Options comprise low-mounted cabin at the front or high-mounted in the middle for the superb handling and visibility.

Rough Terrain Forklift
The rough terrain forklift is best for applications at construction sites and various environments where there is no paved surface. This particular type of forklift is used to shuttle materials around lumberyards.

These forklifts are designed for rough terrain. However, the machinery is top heavy and has to be handled carefully in rough places. The machine must be level with all tires on the ground when lifting.

Steering is more difficult at faster speeds. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration does not set speed limits on forklifts. Then again, drivers are responsible for operating forklifts at a safe speed, especially if turning and driving on rough terrain.

Not raising a load whilst operating on an incline would avoid a tip over. The load needs to be on the uphill side of the equipment if driving up a slope. If driving down an incline, backing down is a good safety practice.
