Genie telescopic S-booms have a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Compared with other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a much greater range of horizontal reach. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access tight areas during industrial and construction applications. They are also recognized for their ability to maneuver through a job site rapidly and with great drive speed and traction. The platform turns 160° hydraulically and could stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools. 360° continuous rotating turntables offer operators quick, easy positioning.
The Z-135/70 model comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, that is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This unit can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks that were previously unreachable by conventional jibs. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 model gives the user 8.83 meters of over and up reach. This feature allows up and over reaching tasks to be completed with zero front arm swing.
Genie also offers the Fast Mast system which allows for precious time to be saved when both primary and secondary booms need to be lifted or for lowering the platform without having to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be fully elevated at the same time. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features lessens the time required for users to descend and ascend, increasing production and efficiency.
